The LIBeral Tribe
NAME
We live in a poitical world, where some people are called "liberals" and others "conservaatives" and still others by different names. Historically, democrats have been characterized as being "liberal"; since WISDOM is not concerned with political parties (e.g. Democrats vs Republicans) but with philosophy, the name "LIBeral" was chosen for this tribe.
COLOR
Since the democrats are symbolized by the color blue, and since most democrats are liberal, the color BLUE was chosen for this tribe. NOTE: the title of this page -- The LIBeral Tribe -- appears in the tribal color.

PHILOSOPHY
Generally speaking, liberals believe that government should be expanded to solve social problems and deal with inequalities, since government can run society better than individuals can.
