The HIPpy Tribe

NAME

The name "HIPpy" is a reference to the 1960's. At that time, hippies were free spirits that were close to nature. That is the nuance that is to be conveyed by this tribe, so the name HIPpy was chosen for this tribe.

COLOR

YELLOW is symbolizes daisies and the sun, both of which come from nature -- which most people associate with being a hippy. NOTE: the title of this page -- The HIPpy Tribe -- appears in the tribal color. For those of you into graphics, the tribal color is 255, 255, 0 (or FFFF00) in RGB, or 0, 0, 255, 0 (or 0000FF00) in CMYK.

PHILOSOPHY

The PHILOSOPHY can be summarized in two general statements: "Do no harm to others" and "Do as you please." Generally speaking, this tribe is composed of people with free spirits that are close to nature.
